Welcome to the Madagascar Fauna Group

The MFG was created to establish a coordinated group through which zoological institutions and their partners could make meaningful contributions to conserving the habitat of Malagasy species they exhibited.

The MFG has evolved a multidisciplinary, holistic and integrated approach to realize our vision through the application of four primary strategies: Conservation Action, Research, Education and Capacity Building

VISION: To Conserve Madagascar's Biodiversity

MISSION: Linking ex situ to in situ conservation to preserve Madagascar's biodiversity
